FESTIVAL PARTICIPANT TRASH Do not leave trash in the park, festival stage, or on the street. Trash receptacles are
located throughout the park for trash disposal. The festival performances ends at 3:30 p.m.
FEES Festival entry is FREE.
RAIN OR SHINE Juneteenth is a rain or shine event – only the threat of severe weather would hinder our plans..
MARKETING Juneteenth encourages all festival participants to be in keeping with the Juneteenth theme and your group. Your look
is key to getting your name out into 'the world,' and we encourage you to promote your group during the event. Once
accepted to Juneteenth, you grant Morgan County NAACP, Morgan County African American Museum, and the City of
Madison the right to use images of your products for festival and parade promotion.
SECURITY Morgan County NAACP and the Morgan County African American Museum believes that providing a safe and secure
environment for the event. Morgan County NAACP and the Morgan County African American Museum will not be liable for any
damage, theft, injury, or weather-related damage incurred during the festival and/or parade. Your signature on the
festival application signifies your understanding and acceptance of these parameters.
FESTIVAL PARKING Parking will be at the Morgan County High School during parade staging and procession. Any
exception to this plan must be approved by the Event Coordinators before the event.

Deadline To Enter: May 31. 2023
Thanks for your interest in participating in Juneteenth. The application deadline for all festival
participants is May 17, 2023. We will notify you immediately via email if we have any problems with your
application. We will not consider your application if it is not complete nor if we receive it after the deadline.
A complete application includes all the information requested below. Festival entry is FREE. An
organization/church/company can have only ONE entry. A schedule of performances will be emailed prior
to event.
